WHAT IS KRATE?:
Krate is India’s first Men’s Clothing Subscription box. For Rs.1500* a month, you can receive a package with our own brand’s apparel valued at Rs.3000 and up. The quality of our clothing is fabulous and our superior customer service experience will not leave you disappointed.
After you answer our short fashion quiz, we create designs matching your style and ship 2-3 items. These items can be a mix of Shirts, T-Shirts, Polos, Henleys, Jeans, Pants and other accessories.
You will be receiving Krate Branded clothing that can make any other top brands run for their money. We want to be your first affordable luxury brand and we are 100% sure you will be happy with our service.
Your stylist will assign clothes to you based on 2 important pieces for information: your style quiz and the wishlist. Our AI tool and machine learning algorithms ensure that the clothes assigned to you best match your preferences. Items are automatically assigned to you and shipped out. Our goal is to make your shopping experience hassle-free. Just un-krate your package and re-krate your wardrobe, every month!
For our first time users, the Attire store allows you to get a taste of Krate. The store comprises of premade stylist boxes that you can purchase for a month without subscribing to krate.
We offer 2 types of services:
1. Subscription: The subscription is one of a kind service that provides edgy and versatile clothing for the modern man and adheres to all his fashion needs one box at a time.
2. Attire Store: For our first time users, our attire store allows you to get a taste of Krate.
All the items available in the lookbook or store, category wise (pants,shirts,t-shirts), can be added to your wishlist. Your wishlist can be updated every month.
Yes, items in your wishlist are given highest priority while the stylist assigns your Krate. In the rare case that a particular item which you added to your wishlist is sold out, you will get an alternate item close to it (interms of colour, pattern and style).
You can add all the items available in the lookbook to your wishlist.
If you are a subscription customer, you get only one box per month. If you want more than one box, you can shop from the attire store which is curated by our stylist. As a loyal and valuable customer, these boxes will be available to you at a discounted price of INR 1500/-. You can avail this discount only if you are active and received a subscription box for the month. If you are an active customer, once you log in, the discounted price will show up on the attire store automatically.
Yes you can . My profile>My style>Change my style. These preferences can be updated monthly before your order get created. For active subscribers, orders generally get created on the same date every month. For instance, if you sign up on January 10th, you can update your preferences for the next box before February 10th.
Go to your profile and click on the slider. It will make you inactive and pause your subscription. However, you can make it active whenever you like to.
It is your ultimate style guide. It guides you with different fashion tips and styles. Subscribers can use the look book to create their wishlists.
Once your payment is authorized and your order is completed, you will receive an email from Krate confirming the order placement. You would be provided with the order number, details of the order and the amount you have paid. You will also receive a sms confirming the same.
At the moment, Krate accepts Visa and MasterCard for the subsription service. We also accept Cash on delivery along with Card payments for our Attire Store. We do not accept personal checks, money orders, Demand Drafts and any other monetary means not mentioned above.
Subcription service for credit cards is the most seemless. You can pause or activate your subsciption at your will. You will be charged automatically only for the months you are active and your Krate will be shipped out based on your preferences.
Subscribers using debit cards can choose between 2, 3 and 6-month subscription plans. The total amount will be debited at once and the boxes will be shipped out continously for the number of months subscribed. For unforeseen reasons, if you need to differ or delay your shipment, you can pause your subscription and activate when you want your box to be shipped out. You will see a pop up on your profile requesting you for the shipment date.
No. COD isn't available for subscription service. COD is only available on the Attire store and users will be charged INR 50/- extra as COD fee.
Once we receive your payment, our shipping partner will pick up your krate within 1-3 business days. Once your Krate is picked up, the shipping details are updated in the Shipment tracking section on your Profile page. Our shipping partners will take 3-7 business days to deliver your Krate.
For Subscription service and Card users on the Attire store: SHIPPING IS FREE. IT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE.
For COD users: INR 50/- will be collected extra as COD fee and includes shipping.
Krate uses reputed logistics to deliver products to your door steps. Once your order is placed, one of our logistic partners would pick the product from us and deliver it you. You can track your order on your profile page.
The delivery time varies from cities to cities. Typically it take 2 – 3 days for all metros & Tier 1 cities. Tier 2 & 3 cities may take 3 to 5 days. Some cities in north east India & J&K etc may take 5 to 7 days. We also ship through Speed Post to few pin codes where no other courier partner can deliver. For any shipment which is getting shipped through India Post, you will be notified at the time of providing your address. India post shipments may take 7 to 12 business days for delivery.
Krate clothing offers free shipping within India on all products purchased on its website. For COD users on the attire store, INR 50/- will be charged extra as COD fee.
For pincodes not serviced by our courier partners, boxes will be shipped out through Indian Postal services and they will have to be prepaid.
There are a few pin codes which are not yet serviceable by our courier partners. However, we are putting our efforts into adding more pin codes and hence would request you to check back after a few days.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES::
Customer satisfaction is regarded highly at Krate. Krate accepts exchanges if there are issues with your latest krate – be it size related issues or quality concerns.
Login to your profile and go to your order history. You will see an exchange button once the box has been delivered. Please click on the button to go over the exchange. The button will disappear 7 days after the delivery has been done.
We will resend a Krate to you, once we receive your returned package. All items that are to be exchanged must be in unworn condition and the tag should be intact. There should be no visible signs of use or damage such as stains or cuts etc. or the return will not be accepted.
Items must be returned within 7 days of receipt. Your new package will be shipped to you once your old package is received and processed at our warehouse. Again, the tags have to be intact.
Krate will cover the shipping on the way back to you. Please feel free to contact email@example.com and our service professionals will be happy to help facilitate your exchange.
Once you have placed an order, the details of your order populates in your ‘My Account’ tab. You can cancel the order before it is shipped. Once it is shipped, unfortunately you would not be able to cancel the order. However if you have paid using credit card/Debit card, we will refund the amount. In order to cancel the order write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Currently, we do not accept returns. We only accept exchanges.
You can initiate an exchange within 7 days of order delivered.
Once you have initiated the process for a pick up, we request our logistic partners to arrange a pick up from your door step. They would in turn get in touch with you and get the item picked up. Please keep the items properly packed in a packet .

Please contact our customer support team on firstname.lastname@example.org, in case you want to cancel the reverse pick up of your item. If the item is already picked up by the LSP from your door step, we would not be able to cancel the return. We will arrange for redelivery of the products once we receive the reverse delivery.
When the below mentioned points are not fulfilled, exchanges are not possible.
During sign up, each customer will be given a unique referral code that he/ she can provide to his/her friends to receive a first time discount. That discount will be applied towards your next billing cycle.
Please take extra care to correctly enter your code during the signup process as we will not be able to incorporate the signup/referral code after registration.
